In Rome, the praecones were among the most essential figures of public life — not soldiers,
not senators, but heralds. They preceded magistrates through the forum, called courts to order,
organized markets, and announced the commencement of public events. Their authority was not military.
It was architectural. Their voice was infrastructure.
From the Latin praeco came the Italian pricone — one who goes before, one who
clears the path. Priconari is the verb form:
to act as herald. To announce. To make impossible to overlook.
Wolf Pak chose this name with precision. Before we write a single line of code for a client, we go before them — mapping the digital terrain, engineering the infrastructure, and positioning their voice where it cannot be ignored.
